In-School Arts Education:
Alpha Omega brings over 40 years of experience running Arts Education programs in New York City schools. Our Arts Education programming utilizes dance to initiate change and enhances the quality of life for children, building their self esteem, self confidence, and benefiting students’ physical and mental development.

Note: Performance options include a 45-minute program that features the Company’s current touring work and concludes with an audience participation segment and a question & answer component.
All activities work in tandem with the school curriculum to provide:
• opportunities for active group participation, cooperation and creative problem solving
• activities and opportunities for children to know a sense of achievement, ability, and accomplishment
• exposure to a richer understanding of the language and art of dance

ALPHA OMEGA YOUNG ADULT WORKSHOP

Dates: April 6 – May 25, 2024
Saturdays 1:00PM – 3:00PM
LOCATION: 70 East 4th Street, Manhattan (between Bowery & 2nd Avenues)
The workshop is conducted with a holistic approach and emphasizes the value of being well-rounded. Classes are intended to accelerate skill level, dance vocabulary, and to condition the mind and body in the art form. Students are encouraged to go beyond their comfort zone, find benefits in various styles of movement, and to achieve their personal best. Designed for those who want to learn in a nurturing and professional environment, improve their technique, and enjoy the general health benefits of dance – the beginner, leisure and professional dancer are all welcome.
AGES: 14+
ATTIRE: Please wear dance or activewear and be prepared to move barefoot or with socks.
